The boat is ready for the water as soon as you have charged the drive battery and fitted the dry cells for the transmitter and receiver

The model can easily be upgraded by fitting an electronic speed controller (Order No. 7197); no soldering required The electric motor is installed in the outboard housing at an angle, so that the deflection angle of the flexible drive shaft is as small as possible.
