Robust aluminium retractable landing gear. Hi-strength steel axles. Thanks to well-selected lever proportions the power required for operation of the retract is kept low, so a special servo will not be required. The landing gear is firmly locked in either end position. The unit is fastened at two bulkheads. Equally suitable for sailplanes as well as powered sailplanes. The appearance of scale-type sailplanes in particular can be noticeably improved by the installation of this retractable undercarriage. Weight incl. 70 mm diam. wheel approx. 190 g. Accommodates wheels of 57 to 70 mm diam., such as Nos. 163.57 - 70.
