Information

- Comprehensive, finely detailed kit for the experienced model builder who looks forward to building a "proper" model again. Nevertheless, the many CNC-machined and laser-cut parts produced at the factory reduce the building time significantly, especially for the boring and difficult components.
- Scale model of a 23 m cruiser based on original drawings supplied by the Deutsche Gesellschaft zurRettung Schiffbrüchiger (German Association for the Rescue of the Shipwrecked - www.dgzrs.de).
- The ocean-going rescue cruiser was christened Bernhard Gruben on 16.10.1997,after the foreman of the Alfried Krupp who was lost at sea during a mission in 1995.
- The daughter boat Johann Fidi(II) was christened in memory of the Rass family of Norderney, which had provided several generations of lifeboat crew members.
- The daughter boat can be operated as an independently controlled model.
- Since 05.08.1997 the Bernhard Gruben has been stationed at the Norderney rescue base.
