With SPEED 600 RACE 7,2 V. This unit is a further development of the GTX-600 outboard motor. Power is transmitted from the motor to the propeller by means of a flexible shaft running in a Teflon sleeve, producing a system which is highly efficient and virtually wear-free.

The flexible shaft can also be maintained easily through the maintenance opening. The standard SPEED 600 RACE 7.2 V electric motor is adequate formedium-sized model boats, but other motors of the SPEED 500, 600 and 650 series can also be installed. The outboard motor is mounted on the model boat´s transom by means of four screws, and its installed height can be adjusted through about 7 mm.

The thrust angle can be adjusted through about +/- 5°. The housing is of generous size, and can easily accommodate a water cooling coil (Order No. 3324). The coil can be retro-fitted at any time, and the set includes the water inletnipple required for water-cooling.
