Ok, here I start with the tail light which has been switched to a white led. The wires run under the cap and have
enough slack for removal of tail cap without need for a plug. The wires are then run down the boom tacked
every so often with some goop glue. Sound deadening foam can be seen here as well, its only 1/8 thick and will
not absorb fuel. It only weighs about a about 10 grams a 9x12 sheet!

...
Here the light system is packed in the case it came with using some foam and then shrinked wrapped for that
finished look. It will sit atop of the radio gear on the mechs.

...
The wires are run as neatly as possible and tacked down as shown here.

...
The tail light lens is added as well as a custom tail beacon housing which can get more detail when we paint.
Radio shack is an excellent source for lens also here.... lighting section.

I made up the pilot step plates of out some fittings that come with the scale acc. set. Here you can
see the muddy footprints my pilot left me on the newly installed step plates...! They are JB welded or
epoxied from behind. When you set the height, place a 1/8 thick sheet of anything to lift them off the
belly plane a bit... so if you gear ever fails to come down, they aren't touched in a belly landing.
