Online-support build-up.   Page 7                                Doors

..
I added a recess to hold two switches(one shown now) and RCA jack for glo-plug. Removable plug helps
quick removal of mechs if need be.

...
The doors are prepped using 2mm steel wire and flex snake cable inner and outer. A brass ball is soldered to
the snake inner to act as a pull. The outer needs to sanded to stick to fuse bottom and side to hold it in shape so
the cable works correctly. I added the wood strip at bottom so it would pull evenly on the door edge.

Here is the loop, waiting to be glassed in with CA and cloth.
Make sure you drill offset holes so the cables can pass eash other!

...
One motion opens  and closes door. I chose not to make real sliders as they are a pain to make and only rattle
in flight.

...
Here you can see just how easy it is to reach all the mechs without removal! Here is the finished paint, I use
PPG two part uretane and a brush right over the bare wood. One step, fuel proof and looks great!

...
This is a statin finish paint , I also added the gyro tray since the rear tray has to come off to accomodate bracket.

Tail cap fitted with vent /arm hole as per fullisze.

I use 2 inch pcv pipe sparyed with metalizer and then buffed. Later I will add the jet
exhaust soot.

More to come, near completion!
