Online-support build-up.  Page  10                  Details

The finished rigging... test flown already it has been superb... more details on this to follow
with the flight pics and set-up.

...
I like to mount my volt meter above in the window so it can be easily seen. I added the naval air scoop
using a hot knife and some scrap glass.

...
Here you can see the  the various openings I added as per full size. Here alu tube is used to form outlet port.
Ca glued from the inside and Jb Weld added to beef the joint up and add adhesion to the alu-glass union.

...
Here I used a piece shuttle tail boom to form the apu outlet. Scrap abs plastic is used to form access hatch.
Latch on the hatch has been "burned-in" using a hot piece of 1/8" brass tubing. I will use this technique later on the
windshield detail when we paint.

...
You can make the tail skid permanent or removable like i have done here using a 4 mm stud and nut glued into
the alu sleeve. The receptacle is made from stainless tubing and hold the alu sleeve which houses the nut.
Also both ends are sleeved on the carbon skid to prevent it from splintering or splitting.

...
Here it is installed with just primer stripes... the tip is alu tube slipped over and glued on thin CA. Here around
the  cowl opening I added some white plastic tape to insulate the cowl from chaffing of making noise. You can do
this after you paint as well  , if you're going to paint , then you leave it 'til after. I just added it for now testing, It pulls
off anytime. You can get it anywhere like home depot. etc... plastic electrical tape. white is least damaging to painted
or covered sufaces yet sticks well.

...
The exhaust tubes in their positions. Here I built up the light using scrap abs plastic left overs from the cockpit
kit parts.

...
This is my favorite detail for now... the simulated pitch change arm as per full size...(Its just a robart swing-
arm from a Robo-Strut.). Ok, I added a little zip to radar antenna...:)

How much room inside? THIS MUCH! Black pad in tail  is sound deading foam.

I like this MC-24 because I can select servo speeds for the retracts right
on the transmitter. Not available here yet, but possibly soon via  Modelbau USA
in south florida, Graupners agent for fixed wings in south america. Working on
frequency certifaction.Flight pics and actual flight settings coming soon along with
movies!
