Take away the bottom frame structure and you dont have much! That's exactly the point!
You do not need carbon this or alu that to fly a heli well! these frames are a special energy
absorbing matierial that outlive any alu-frame in a crash. Special matierial comprised of fiberglass
filled nylon ensureing constant gear mesh, no RF noise, and dampening qualities that make life
very easy on a glass body! Note how big this powerplant is for the size of this system, a full
1.5 to 2 pounds lighter than the average comparable set of mechanics. The power to weight
ratio is second to none. Cooling, check out that head ! 3.25 inches in dia. with extra deep fins
keep this baby in the blue not red.The fan shroud is HUGE and really thick and strong.
I really like the new carb as well, set it and forget it. The full set of CNC machined delrin
gears make the power transfer quiet and vibration free.Motor is set forward for enhanced
C.G. properties and the pegae start system is shown installed.

Shown with 2258 compact muffler installed , alternately the 2240 may ALSO be used as per Graupner/Heim
recomendation. This pipe is tad quieter, the 2240 is considered a tuned silencer for this application .
Both pipes make close to about the same power, but the 2258 is a really tight fit in this mech set due to
driven tail split gear. It can be done, but you will have to remove some matierial from the rear plate to accomodate
the increase in diamter and a slight reshapeing of the mounting braket. The 2240 needs a turndown pipe,
one is available in stainless steel. (higher nitro use, go for the 2240)
This is what I love about this system for scale, top start, forward C.G. , centrally mounted exhaust that STAYS
with the system with no other brakets are needed to hold exhaust! It just does'nt get any easier than that... toss in
the fact that this system flies better than any other I have flown and you have all the best in one neat, light and
precision package.
