Hinge covers added
, and attached with jb-weld , after a certain point we dont want to re-
heat the work for fear of blowing it all apart. REMEMBER, ALL of this is
optional ! Faux
hinges will look great too!

Upper track made
from 3/32" and 1/8" angle on 1/4" channel. stand off is made by first
forming base plate to match body contour, then grinding the rectangular
channel to meet
the curved plate, solder, then slowly shave of a bit at a time to line
up the upper track. Metal
tape is put down to disapate any heat build up and also to pre tack the
breacket with c/a
to hold it place for soldering. VERY CARFUL HERE, one slip of the torch
and bye-bye.low-mid
heat /work quick!

IThe upper slider
hinge.retainer clip will hold it into slider piece, while the upper portion
simply slides into the door bracket which has a brass insert of 1/8" tube
to accept the 5/32"
music wire hinges. All of these style hinges have been heat treated to
prevent breakage.

WHOA! all done, now
the other side... from this point it's pretty
detailing and paint. she could just about fly in a a month or so.
but no rush, I know she will fly ....the wait for the paint and mechs
pre-flight is coming to a close.
HOW TO HEAT TREAT : bend wire to desired positon while red hot, then quench,
re-heat wire til
blue hot, not so hot as red. and let cool by itself. That's it!
