                                                 I use scrap carbon sheet to form jams. Clear gelcoat does have it's advantages!
                                          We can see the glue contact very nicely and placements of bulkheads are a breeze!

                                                  Start with straight cuts, then smooth out with a wheel, then fiinally paper in the hand.
                                         I tend to these matters whilst glues are drying.... keeps things moving.

                                                 Bulkheads  are made from lite-ply. If you choose to just glue on the nose then you can
                                         skip all of these next steps, including the nose bulkhead.

                                              Notches for hinges are made...                                 Just before gluing the hinges to body.
                                                                                                                                    and bottom edge of nose cone.
