One of the front supports that will get two 3mm holes drilled into it and attached to this bulkhead. At last the
final touch to the tail. The light will be finally installed after paint.

There are a number of ways to mount the tail rotor servo, but I wanted easy access through the luggage door
and yet be far enough away from the turbine with using just a straight carbon fiber push rod. The last piece of
frame work to go in (thanks to Stefan and Hugo) I doubled up the 1/8 ply in the rear section of this piece and
you will notice the cross tie piece up front removes with two 3mm bolts. Now the tail has all the support it will
need despite the operating turbine cover cowl (rear cowl). Less some last minute details, I am off to paint!
(The wood will get soaked with thin CA glue-this seals and strengthens wood without much weight gain, then
it will be sanded and then painted , then the outer skin will get paint. All bodywork corrections, fill dings, etc...
will be done right after initial primer coat, followed by spot prime and and total sanding , then the paint work
can begin.) What will be the paint scheme? You'll just have to wait and see!

Ok, all the sanding prep is done and all the parts primed and spot work done, only thing left is
to spend the hours spot priming and re-sanding the primer for paint. Jodi a.k.a. Jetcat gives me
the thumbs up one last time before proceding to the next step...quality control is job-one for this cat.
(You can see by his coloring how many near misses we have had in the shop! He blends right in! )

Ok, this final step before paint is to seal and paint the inside of the fuse and wood system. I use thin CA glue
to seal all the wood which makes it quite strong as it penetrates deeper than epoxy and adds next to nothing in
the weight deptarment. The wood is then sanded with 320 grit paper (time consuming) and then you have
perfectly sealed and strengthened wood for paint. Paint with single stage automotive urethane paint and you have
results like this...strong, sealed and attractive interior structure.
