Here is a side project
I am doing just for myself... I love A-Stars so I had to do
a big model of one.
This model will be powered by a Pahl GPH-70 Turbine
system of Austria
. This is not really a build up, just an illustration of progression.
This kit is offered
by Modellsport /Hugo Markes and is available through Scalejet
or directly from
Modellsport of Switzerland.

Turbine is mounted and will only need the scale
exhaust duct to complete. It should measure only a few inches
as the outlet of turbine itself just meets the
rear cowl line! (I would rather
smell jet-A than ozone!)

This bulkhead seperates front
cabin from mechanics totally. Made from a 1/8 lite-ply frame covered with
1/64th
ply veneer to stay light and attaches with the
hidden cabin bolts that holds the front section to rear section of fuse.
Addtionally, the front cockpot perimeter floor
bolts (2 mm) also help hold the cabin and floor in place up front to
lower section (which is attached to rear section.).
