She is certainly taking shape quickly ! Windshield
post tabs added to be trimmed after glue
dries.

Skid gear is reliable and sport scale
. I will be making my own gear out of some gear I had
laying around the shop with some modifications
, I have spent only 20 hours on the fuse to
get it ready for flight, 3-4 more hours should
finish it in basic format... I am going to add more
scale touches though. Tabs are shaped in this
pic after the glue set , then screwed into place.
Wood tabs go underneath.

The cowl fit perfectly from factory, No triming
needed here! only seven screws total hold it
tightly against fuse. What a fit !!!
Here is the scale gear I made from an old
set laying arond the shop,
I added 2 inches to the rear, blended them
in after welding , the
tee-connections are scratch made along with
attachment bolts.
Step plates and vent tubes add to the effect...
I spent more time on this
gear that building the model ! Oh well,
the price of scale...
