I like to use an angle to find the level plane in the body mounts, mechs are checked
after wood is temporarily CA glued in place, just tacked. I use a level meter to make sure
all the angles are correct an spaciing is equidistant in all areas. About 2.5 degrees forward
tilt is built in .

Brass inserts keep the bottom from crushing in the rear mount area . Here is the first round
gluing, I use micro balloons to give the glue extra  strength and gap filling power.
WEST SYSTEM epoxy is used.

  ....
These are VERY scale exhaust stacks , yes they are light but check out how good they
look complete below . The shape is Not round but oval  as per fullsize. A small gap is left
to give the sunken appearance that is needed. Simply goop into place after all paint work
is done and they are airbrushed.

......
Primer makes them look even better!                    Stub winglets need to be trimmed before
installation, trial fit and take time here.

......
A small slice with hot knife and then a few passes with a dremel disc wheel used by
hand to gently open up slit just enough for winglet. All set  and ready to glued later on.
