Presents: Bell 230  UT  online support build-up. Page 12 Finishing...

Ok, we're back! Our Hot-Tamale' is living up to her name! We need to let it sit for a few days
then begin the re-assembly process. I have to add : wire cutters, windows, airbrush exhaust stacks,
install retractable landing light , fuel filler etc.... all this takes time, so we go slow and careful and
it will all turn out great. I won't show the whole thing til its back together...but I will record in process
final assembly tips at the same time finished pics are posted.(which will be very soon! )

..        ....
The heart of our system, the UNI-2000  with O.S. .91 FX-HG motor. We will use the 688mm sym.
blades as previously tested in the movie section, and we should be turn'n and burn'n soon! Windows
are sanded with scotch-brite pad (red) and borders painted, then cleared.

....   .....
Some of the Faux-latches I amde made into Dry-tranfers. Now I wonder what the "VE" stands
for???

...
The exhaust came standard with kit and were airbrushed using testors model master paints. The front
windshields are GOOPED to frame. Goop is an elastometric type of rubber cememt. This creates
the nose section and is removable so the mechanics can slide right in with nothing to remove for installation.
Small screws hold it in on the side corners to body with backup plates installed for screws on body.

...
I like to wait to install screens on some models depending on type paint used. The high gloss finishes
tend to clog the screens. I paint them with a fuel proof paint, rough cut to size. Trim and install buy tacking
in a few places with thick CA glue, hold down, shoot some kicker on it, and youre done! they can be easily
removed if they should ever need replacing.

...
Just keep the gaps tight and you get this! Here I show a viper temp gauge that records the highest
operating temp during the run. No more guessing! No more rushing up to the chopper before it cools
down(which usally never works) .

...
Mechs are checked and boom and exhaust are fully installed before installing into body... Here is the
final touch...airspeed indicators made from alu tubes. FINAL SHOTS UP NEXT!
