model of the latest version type "E"of the proven multi-purpose
helicopter
manufactured by AGUSTA .
The vertical stablilizer is of drastically reduced size compared with the
model's
predecessor, and this requires less power from the tail rotor
for
sideways and reverse flying. The retractable landing grear is
simplier
and more robust and the inward retracting main gear
operate
in scale manner.
The white pimented GRP fuselage features no internal bulkheads and is
supplied
with openings. The top opening is so large that the uni-expert
or
uni-mechanics 2000 can be installed completely assembled including
muffler.
The mechanical system is then attached the fuselage floor
by
means of four screws, and braced by two further attachement points at
the
top. As standard the tailrotor drive system is based on a 2mm spring
steel
shaft, but the alternative rigid drive system can also be accomodated;
This
system is used in the ULTRA-STAR 2000, and is available as a
tunning
acessory under part number 4451.100. The GRP tail rotor control
linkage,
part number 4448.105 can also be fitted. The mechanically actuated
retractable
undercarriage is available under part number 4458.4. The motor
is
started from above by means of a hexagon starter adaptor with free wheel
part
number 1631.
Kit-contents; Building instructions in German, English, French. Lightweight
multi
-sectional
fuselage in epoxy-fiberglass, with high-gloss white-pigmented surface
and
most openings are factory pre-cut. Wooden parts, pre-cut clear smoked
tint
windows,
tail rotor shaft with bush, tail-rotor control pushrod, vaccum molded stablilizer
panels,
small parts.
Specs: length 1525mm, fuse width (excluding rotor) 300mm, overall height
440mm,
all up weight min approx 4600g.
