                                                   .                     ...
    time: 02:15 .est.date 03.15.00. location: a covert
landing site just outside of the santa-fe pass.

(my house) . mission: to convince my neighbors
that i am not drunk, rolling around in the street
at 2 am. just taking pictures..... move along....!

Daylight pics outside...

.                               ...,
a nice shot of some weathering, weapons and exhaust stack.

20,000 rivets adorn the fuse, 2400 hand-drilled in canopy,
600 brass#00 screws and 1.3 mm nuts completes the needed details.
  ..
Rocket launchers, hang from wings with quick release brackets, made from .005 brass sheet,
alu-tubes, wire, basswood, and various bits of brass stock, cut , ground, shaped. The hardest part
of the model as 8,16 and 64 of everything had to be made, by hand. I used no machine tools except
to turn the tubes to proper o.d. and i.d. .Everything is silver soldered for flight enviroments. Yes,
it does fly, at a finished weight of 18 lbs even. and 17 without wing weapons, the Rossi has no trouble
hauling it around. Head speed is 1250 in a hover.

     ...                                          ..
A good shot of some tail weathering.......

A close up of the head, CSS HEAD. Rods are 3mm.
scale 419 blades used, but true scale blades are next!

       . .                                       ..
A close up of the adjustable horizontal stab. A
carbon-fiber shaft supports the fins and a carbon
pushrod runs to a servo up front.Everything , always
up front, a light tail leads to a light helicopter!

......
1.3 mm nuts, filled with glue, add the bolted
     on look.
