Here we are, the model has been expertly painted
( i will post his name on our links section soon as I can)
Also shown is a nice install on the search light.
It hits a micro swtich when in the full down position.
It still needs to be painted flat black.

The Uni-Expert system with the alu-swash
upgrade and the one piece compact silencer. Very neat and compact.
Here is a shot of the rear exhaust stack
detail .

The dummy filler neck and skid detail...also
the sirens and drop down searchlight. All of these items except the
search light come with the cockpit set.

The scale latches and hatch covers are added
and can be fully functional if desired. The boom detail shown here
using the GRP fin set.
The drive system is clear here. Access for
maintenence is a breeze!

The rear area gets some padding as will
the front sides... this only adds a few grams total. Here is how I like
to
run my lines. Notice the loop down below? no
fancy cut off valve needed... I simply reach under the heli and pinch
it off with a hemostat when I re-fuel the bird.The
loom keeps the line inside safe from rubbing anywhere...
the mechs are now ready to install (note the
wire loom by the carb? that is ALL of the cables including the gyro).
Clean and neat and best of all no extensions
where needed for the servos.
Waiting on the mechs....

Here it is in test fly form... I leave the nmose
and cowls off for the first few flights for easier
access for adjustments. I set this one at 6.5
for hover pitch , 12 at the top, -4 at the bottom.
The motor fired right up perfectly at 2 turns
open on the main needle and 6 clicks omn the mid-
needle. She lifted off with NO adjustments!!!
Every now and then I get the set-up perfect.
It took only about an hour to do it all, check
tail blades, set the radio throws ,etc.
Hover is about 1450 and the .61 has PLENTY of
POWER, the vetical at a low head speed is
impressive to say the least... What do I like
most about this bird? The fact the hovers perfectly
LEVEL due to offset built into it, the disc is
definately at an angle, but the bird remains level!!!
The tail is more solid than any other I have
flown to date...and the size is just right, not too small,
not too big... handles like a high-performance
limo! A+ I am truly happy with this one, and the
customer will glad to take it from me:( .
