 Build-up   by  Sandy Alan Squitieri

...

The fins are the last wrap-up to take care of, I like to use stabilit-express to bond
the ABS permanently , then epoxy the unit to the fuse. Here it shown
that wires are short, this is to acomodate  the hard boom and articualted
drive system. While the fuse is being preped for paint I will begin a build-up
of the new Uni-2000LN mechanics using the Monster O.S. MAX 91 FX -HGL
powerplant! coming very soon!

...
Glue seam is west epoxy with micro ballon filler. Here are the airspeed indicators added.
Check out cowl fit without screws!

All done ready for paint... Here are a few angles I though you would enjoy...

...

...
As you can see, this is one sleek bird! With the gear up
she will look like a torpedo, with the reliable high-output
O.S..91FX-HGL heli- motor she will fly like one too!

Now, let imagine this scheme traveling 75 mph on a flyby...!
WHOA! too exciting!

...
A few extra touches ... A.B.S. used to from tail plane on boom as per full size,
also  added scale scoops will help flow even more air  for cooling .

...
Scoops are formed by cutting out shape and heating the glass slighty to bend it into
position. I used a pencil as a spacer til it cooled. Careful not to overheat the glass!!!
Work slowly with the heat! Then you can add scrap pieces to form sides and glue in
place from inside(behind).
