After the windows are fully sanded ( 600-800 grit) I then mask off the borders by
taping the perimeter then re-tapeing the inside of that. Then peel off the perimiter tape
to reveal a uniform border.(glass edges of window openings must be resized down
a bit) . The rest is taped off using professional grade automotive tape then airbrushed
to a flat even finish using enamel(testors).

It takes me about 6 hours to tape it all off... some of the windows are removable, the others
I chose to glue in since they dont need to come out... less wear and no cracking from screws...
they get cleared in with the rest of the finish, by painting the borders ahead of time we
can just tape the whole window off when doing color work. Its much easier to do it this way
instead of having to to tape the borders off, as we might have enough taping to do already
by stripes on the paint work.

The nose gets a black mask , but its still easier to pre-tape and paint the borders on the glass.
The borders on the glass hide any glue imperfections such as air bubbles, pockets in the
glue seam which are almost impossible to get perfect... we just cover em up this way.
and when you add the clear you get a border that looks like a euro-windshied on a new car..
just as per full size machine...LIKE THIS! examples:
