Build-up   by  Sandy Alan Squitieri   Final chapters / Extra details !

...
I added the aux. intakes and bypass vents, this will not weaken the fuse in any way. Also this scoop
was added by using a hot knife and scrap glass as previously discussed earlier in this build-up.

...
I used the Graupner Nav. light kit and switched out the rear tail led to an all white unit. I later added
the stab lights by gluing them in with ca glue and shapeing them to desired fit, careful not to go too far
as you can ruin the element. Yes , they do indeed work and quite well as they have been set in a
45 degree anlge prior to shaping so they can be seen brightly at all angles.

...
II added this cooling vent here, screen gets added after paint. The spolier onthe boom is simply
added by using 1/32 ply ca glued to the skin.

...
I now paint the enitre area of the lower floor with the wood to prevent a fuel spill from soaking
the glass! works great and is much easier to do this way... I brush on urethane PPG paint.

...
There doors were made from scratch using scrap glass.. a cable loop grabs to gear to pull them closed.

...
Just some different angles of the gear all done....
