Here is transplant subjects..about 10 min to break down pod and boom.

A nice
neat package with a lot of forward C.G. ! Boom attached to mechs slide right
in
and the
entire install to get ready to fly is less than an hour! Subsequent installs/removals
take
only a few minuets once everything has been rigged .

Tail
box goes on to drive shaft, the distance is measured between the tail box
flange
and tail
box bulkhead, we add 1 mm to that measurement and then cut that amount
off of
shaft. The steel end plug is heated for removal and re-inserted into
shaft
end with 603 locktite. The tail box is bolted up and ready to accept the boom.

Almost
all done... I have to make up carbon push rod and that should do it!

you can also see how clean everything installs. Yes a boom mounted
exhaust
support is used to support end of tail pipe (not shown here).

Fuel
dot is simple to set up, just loop the fuel line feeding motor down around
cooling
hole
so you can pinch it off with a hemostat and fill from plug end. Totally leak
proof and
reliable.
Here I used the landing gear hole to mount glo-plug hook up and on/off switch
and charging
jack . Clean and easy , goop is used to secure them.

Antenna wire runs along bottom for best reception on her high speed passes!
Test
flown and AWESOME!!! my best bird to date!!!
Clocked
on a radar gun over 81 mph! That was its second flight
and I
was holding back! Next time we beat that!
So smooth
and quiet and VERY SCALE in the air, the handling
and performance
is like no other helicopter I have ever flown.
High
winds? no problem, we test flew it in 20 mph winds.
VERY
stable and rock steady hover, loops and rolls were
crisp
and easy. I love this one , building another in a different
scheme.
The shape is very sleek in the air.
