t The tail drive install starts with drilling a 1 mm hole in each side on the upper indentation only. A wire is passed though here
to both sides so we can later help locate the correct position of the tail box in the relation to the IGB 40 degree box. In short
it simulates where the IGB should be.

...
This is the shape I come up with from past NH-90 builds, works fine. Here the tail box is fitted to the bulkhead for fitting
to the glass, you may want to try the get bulkhead to lay down in there a little before doing this, kind of a pre fit, then bolt it up
with 2 mm wire and see where you are in relation to our wire in the tail. The two points should intersect centrally.

...
You may have to bevel the upper part of bulkhead on backside to get it lay down. Here is the intersection of a correctly
located bulkhead.

...
This also helps the tail alignment, get it level, then check the tail shaft much like a fly bar set up... you also have to check
that it is 90 degrees to helicopter when viewed from above.

...
The tail coupler is installed before the drive shaft goes into its sleeve. Here is the IGB (intermediate gear box) prepared
as per the manual ready for fitting....

...
The outer tube 10 mm, and the inner stainless tube with teflon inner... A tubing cutter is used to cut the inner as this
tends to curl the edges over slightly on the end locking the teflon sleeve into place. A 3 mm hole is drilled 8 mm from the
end on the 10 mm tube to engage the pegs found in the IGB halves. This prevents pull out or rotation.
