Turbine Q&A/Addtional support products section here.

Corrections and Addendum's here.

Ok , as I wrap things up on the body I am preparing to test run the turbine to get familiar
with the hook ups and controls.(IT WILL NOT BE RUN PAST IDLE WITHOUT A LOAD! )
This is merely to get used to everything, 1/2 inch alu plate used with some tupperware stolen from
the kitchen! sssssh!

,,,
One little detail I like to add is this step plate here, which creates a more positive point for the locking mechanism to park
itself. I also like to add these strips of 1/8" ply to stiffen the bottom edge so the it stays tight in the corners when shut.

...
The gas port holes opened up. I like to put the upper pins in like this... cut one rod into 5 pieces equally and you will have
enough for two doors and a neat guide pin that will help line up the latch in a bit...

...
Use the scrap guide pin I just spoke about to help locate the hole in the body, pressing the door in snug will locating hole.
You don't have to do this, this is optional, I add faux lower hinges using 3/32 alu tubes to simulate runner brackets. You need
to slightly notch the rail a bit, about 1/8" will do. Then bend them over and sand finally.

...
A brass ball is soldered onto on end of the each cable (cut cable in half to make two, same for plastic tube) . I add a wood
tab here on the floor with some glass to hold the sanded plastic tube into place.

...
Here it is done, JB weld the pins and such and let dry....

Doors are done! I ground in the scale door handle just for kicks...
