Ok,
now that we have the fuse in order for now lets move to the tail. We must
first
address the fins...."hello fins!" . seriously , they must be done first
in order to have room
to work before installing bearing supports for tail drivshaft. I am utilizing
a carbon drive-
shaft to create a support spar for the horizontal stabilizers.Lite ply
bulkheads are fashioned
to susspend the spar mid-way in the hole for stabs. There must be a gap
all the way around
stab to appear scale.

HHere
is the general idea... tack in with c/a glue vey lightly then epoxied in
palce with
micro-ballons mixed in with epoxy..glued in from inside! we want it clean
outside. 3/32
strip balsa is tacked with c/a to sanded shaft/spar and then shaped as
to not distort the
skin of the stab at all, just contact it lightly.

I then taper the strips near the inside
so as to provide addtional clearance for the next step.
