The mechanics just dropped in for a
test look. Everything lines up just super! There is a lot of
room in there. The Benzin almost disappears in there! Here you can also
see the carbon I added.
We will be moving on soon to lining up mechs , mounting them and then on
to the tail and drive
system. We will be using s.s. shaft 950 mm long. Part numbers will
be available to complete the
install. stay tuned, parts on order and waiting! But until then we will
work the stabs on the tail while the tail boom
is still clear of support bearings.

The cavern as I like
to call it , the mechs just fell in and lined up perfectly even
with the
pre-cut hole. I was so happy about this as I was able to drill and install
the mechs in about
15 min.! A proper 2 degree foward tilt is present , the accuracy is outstanding!

Just a glimpse of the wood after the second coat
of epoxy. this entire section only took less than a thimble
of matierial to cover, the strength of the wood is now
twice that of untreated wood , there is a U.V unhibitor
to eliminate yellowing and aging and the fuel proof
qualities are outstanding. WEST SYSTEM.
