........................ .
Before I begin sanding the areas for glue work for the wood, I mark off these areas to be cut. I use "Tesla Tape"
or 3M will do to create a 1/4 inch border and hack off the rest . I also cut the areas under the window openings
but bear in mind only these areas, the top connecting strip remains intact. Once sanded fully and all cutting is done
wash with semi-high pressure water to clean the "pores" of the glass to get rid of all dust and residues and let hang
to dry for a day or so before gluing.

......
Here you can see what I cut and what I left, this middle "tounge" is important for center beam later on. Here
the wood is fitting almost perfectly after some work on adjusting it... remember I only tacked the wood set with
a few drops of CA? This so I could move the pieces if absolutly needed once I trial fit everything . I did remove
the gear for sanding and created a little extra work, but it was much easier to prep this way. Again H-4 is left
loose still at this stage.

......
It is really a good idea to screw the black tabs to the floor before mounting them to H-4 and H-5 bulkheads
to achieve perfect alingment from the floor to bulkheads. Even with weight on the floor I found some areas that
could use a little trimming so the floor won't touch the body (marked with marker). Soon final gluing of wood kit
and floor bulkheads will begin. Everything is just tacked in case I mess up!

......
Here are the mechanic mounts . Here is H-7 dry fit, this pieces must make contact with floor even if the longitudal
bearers dont quite make it. This gives me close to 2.5 to 3.0 degree angle but I won't be sure until I mount the mechs.
Again I will only tack these, check everything ... then flood this area with thin CA to bond the pieces. BVM glue (epoxy)
will also be used in key areas. The arrow points to the access hole for allen wrench for mech mounting bolt. I will enlarge
this hole to 4mm just to make it easier to get at and install bolts from underneath. Gear/strut blocks still to come....

.......
Before final glue-up, I prepared the mechs for test fit. Front section is removed for full cockpit and this really
shows how well thought out these systems are...delrin gears, 3.1 hp .91 motor should make this heli fly with speed
and authority. The 7.7:1 ratio will be very, very quiet and pleasant with plenty of reserve power. 9402 futaba servos
are used, 502 gyro (401 will also work). The green box is temp gauge with memory. I run this motor in the 180-185
degree range on 30% low-smoke nitro fuel. I still have to change out the start adaptor at this point.
