We check every part of the body wirth skids installed on the strut tubes on a flat surface so that we know it is level.
When I am satisfied fully tha the spacing is correct side to side and level I tack the strut tubes with a few drops thick
CA glue to body so they won't move. They will get blocks and BVM glue later when the wood kit is installed,
but for now a test fit shows some minor adjustments are needed for full contact of the wood to body (again H-4 is
left loose).
I use a marker to show where I will need to sand the glass for wood contact , these areas will get sanded with 100
grit paper while the rest of the belly will get 180 grit for painting. Wood will be painted with automotive paint along
with belly area for fuel proofing. I like to use Nason system or PPG with a brush or airbrush for this step...more on
that much later on.

Ok, in the spirit of not leaving well enough alone...I cut the rear struts 12 mm and the front struts 4 mm to achieve
what I think is a more scale stance. Believe it or not the boom has a downward angle of 1 degree still!

Just some of the panel detail on this bird... the boom tunnel has seperations as well and I will add even more
to this cowl area such as scale latches and other openings...(my favorite part! ) This B-2 version has the rear door
as a slider and only one detail is needed to make complete.

Panel lines and more latch detail that goes under the belly. Here you can see what a difference the strut covers
make in diameter. The spring steel struts flex but always come back to thier original shape. T-pieces are very scale
and I will add extensions on the skids for floats in the extra detail section of this build-up..
